Tier Pricing
Our trips work best with
a small group of people. In order to operate these small
groups, our trips are priced according to the number of full-price
travelers on the trip. We invoice you at the highest tier
price (the smallest group size we can operate) until final payment
is due. If the price drops due to an increase in group size
before your trip departs, you will be refunded the difference.
If you have any
questions about rates please ask in advance. In general the "add to
cart" button will have the correct rate upon booking,
Payment Schedules &
Information
Generally 50% of the trip cost is
due at booking, with the remainder due 60 days prior to departure.
Exceptions are for Early Bird Rates which require full payment in
order to receive the discounted rate.
Group Rates:
If you have a group booking any of our tours where we offer a
special group rate, the entire payment needs to be made on one
credit card and not individual credit cards or in one PayPal
payment.
Early Bird
Rates: To receive any Early Bird Special Rates full
payment is required at the time of the booking unless other
arrangements are approved.
Cancellations &
Refunds
At the time we receive
written notice that you must cancel your trip, the following fees
will apply (all dates are from departure date):
From time of reservation until 90 days prior - $150 per person
89 to 60 days prior - $400 per person
59 days or less prior - Non-refundable
No partial refunds will
be given for unused hotel rooms, meals, sightseeing trips, or trek
arrangements for any reason whatsoever. The trip cost is quoted as a
package and credits are not given for services not used. We
recommend you purchase travel insurance to protect yourself in case
of an unexpected medical emergency.
Single Travelers
All tour prices are
based on double occupancy. If you prefer single
accommodations, you must pay a single supplement fee, which is
listed on the trip itinerary. If you are traveling alone and
wish to share accommodations, we will do our best to assign you a
roommate of the same gender; however, we cannot guarantee a
roommate, due to the small size of our groups.
Insurance
Travel insurance is
highly recommended for these and all other travel arrangements.
Cancelled Trips
Dolly Varden Tours
reserves the right to cancel any trip due to inadequate sign-up or
any other reason that make it unfeasible for us to operate. We
will inform you at least 45 days prior to departure. In such a
case, a full refund will be issued. Dolly Varden Tours is not
responsible for addition expenses incurred by members preparing for
the trip (e.g. air tickets, visa fees, clothing, equipment, etc.)
